Here is one of the Valentine treats that we made at my Valentine class last weekend.
I took a Tootsie Roll can (from the $ store) and wrapped Real Red card stock around it.
Then I added some strips of the Love Impressions Designer paper, a strip of the Glimmer Paper, of course, couldn't do without it, add a ribbon, a tag and give it to your Valentine.
Quick, Easy and Fun! Try it! They take just a matter of minutes to put together!
This card was made by Cynthia Ritzman, one of my Stampin' Up! team members, for our Fall Holiday swap last month, and I just love it.
Cynthia used the Finial Press for both the background and the pumpkin and what I like about it most? the shiny pumpkin! She then painted it with Shimmer Paint and then added a little bling too! Love that bling, even if it's on a pumpkin!

This is one of the cards that I designed for my Technique Club. We will be making several fun punch cards for the Holidays and I'll post more next week.
I used all 4 of Stampin' Up's Oval punches, the smallest one you can find in the Holiday Mini catalog. I sponged the edges of the pumpkin pieces to make them stand out a bit more. For the stems and the word piece I used a small piece of the Word Window punch.
The background was made using my Big Shot and the Finial Press Impressions Folder using Very Vanilla card stock. To make it pop a little, I sponged the edges with Cajun Craze ink.

This is one of the ten cards that we made last month at my Impressions Card Class. We made one card with each of the 10 Impressions Folders and in order to keep the Impressed images more pronounced, I kept the accents to a minimum.
This Thanksgiving card uses some of the Autumn Spice Designer papers which are textured and just fabulous! I used the Mustard print for the background and two others for the leaves. I used my Big Shot and the Leaves #2 die and then sent them through my Big Shot again, this time with the Vintage Background Impressions Folder. I also used the Impressions Folder for the background.
For the words, I used my Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set and my Oval Punches.

I've been working on Thanksgiving projects lately and wanted to share this watercolored card with you. I used the Autumn Spice Designer Paper from the Holiday Mini as my background and then stamped the Autumn Harvest pumpkins, gourd and a few leaves with Basic Gray ink.
I used my Watercolor Pencils and a blender pen to color the images, adding a bit of color underneath them to make sure that they didn't look like they were floating. It's best to add a line just above your image and blend it down a bit for a more natural look.
To finish this card, I stamped words from the Falling Leaves set in Early Espresso near the tall pumpkin, mounted the focal to a piece of Cajun Craze card stock, tore the edge, wrapped some Early Espresso taffeta ribbon around it, and mounted it to my card base with Dimensionals. I then mounted a few leaves and that was it. . . .well, almost.
Ya just gotta stamp the envelope too! Remember, No Naked Envelopes!
Stamp a few leaves on a Very Vanilla envelope and watercolor them like the leaves on the card. The recipient will surely enjoy opening this mail!
Here is a box that I made recently using the Paisley Prints stamp set from the Holiday Mini and the Fancy Favor box die.
I used Early Espresso card stock for the box and stamped the leaves and pumpkins on Very Vanilla with Always Artichoke and, what else but Pumpkin Pie. The words are from the stamp set Falling Leaves and I think they work great, don't you?
Here is a box that I made with my Big Shot and the Matchbox die that would be great for your Thanksgiving table.
I used Autumn Spice textured designer paper from the Holiday Mini for the top piece and punched a window using my Large Oval punch. I added a little piece of Window Sheet underneath to keep the goodies in. The bottom piece of this box was made with Cajun Craze card stock.
Tie a little Old Olive ribbon and a note of Gratitude with some Early Espresso taffeta, and your done. . . . except for the candies of course.
Here is another of my Big Shot boxes from my class earlier this month. I used the Mini Milk Carton die with the Northern Flurry Impressions folder with Baja Breeze card stock.
I stamped, colored and cut out the animals from the new Merry Crittermas stamp set in the Holiday Mini catalog. Aren't they too cute?
After I added the critter, I decided that I needed, what else? Bling! So I used my 2 way glue pen and added some Dazzling Diamond glitter!
To top it off I chose a wire clip and added a snippet of Whisper White Taffeta ribbon.
At my Technique Club Friday night, I showed 2 different embossing techniques and 2 using Shimmer Paints. This is the one I came up with that is pretty simple, just use your Versamark Pen when you want to accent something with embossing. Here I've embossed the wings of the owl and bats and covered the hat with Black E/P to add more texture to my card.
I used the Owl punch, of course, but I used the Two-Step Bird punch for the leaves and for the owl's wings. Nite Owl Designer paper made his shirt and I added a couple of Black Jewels for bling. Yes, I love Bling and thought he, or maybe it's a she, needed some too.
The Bats, Spider Web and Hat are from the Wicked Cool stamp set, as are the words that I put on the inside. Take a peek

I made this little matchbox filled with Fall colored M&M's for my Big Shot Box class and it is just too cute. We made the bottom piece using Cajun Craze card stock, but the top was made using the Autumn Spice Textured paper that's in the Holiday Mini catalog.
This Designer paper is great! It is thick, almost like card stock, and holds it's shape well.
Here's how I made this window matchbox:
After cutting the box top and bottom out, using Stampin' Up!s Exclusive Matchbox die by Sizzix, I pushed the small end of the top piece into my Extra Large Oval punch to make the window. I then took a piece of Window sheet (found on page 205 of the Idea Book & Catalog) and covered the window from underneath.
Next I stamped the word gratitude from the stamp set "Fabulous Phrases" and punched it out with my small Oval Punch. Make sure you punch with the word to the far right in order to leave room for the ribbon hole.
Layer this on an Old Olive Oval punch piece, mount the words on and punch a ribbon hole with your Crop-a-Dile.
Wrap a piece of Old Olive 5/8" grosgrain ribbon around the box, tie it in a knot, and add the word piece using Early Espresso 1/8" Taffeta ribbon.
Oh! And don't forget your M&M's!

Here is another of the Big Shot Boxes form my class last week.
For this one, I used the Fancy Favor die with Chocolate Chip card stock and stamped the leaf from Paisley Prints, new in the Holiday Mini, in
Early Espresso ink all over the box.
I then stamped some leaves with Always Artichoke and the pumpkin image with, what else? Pumpkin Pie, cut them out and mounted them on the box.
I stamped words from the Falling Leaves stamp set, also with Pumpkin Pie, and added a bit of Pumpkin Pie grosgrain ribbon to finish it off.
I put a Fall scented votive candle inside.
Wouldn't this make a great addition to your Thanksgiving table?
or, if you're not cooking this year, as a little gift for the person who is!
By the way, I didn't want the stem of the pumpkin to be "orange", so I colored over it with my Always Artichoke marker.

Here's one of my ideas that we did at my Valentine class last month.
We used the glittery Sending Love Designer paper, the Always stamp set, Pretty in Pink Satin ribbon, several punches, a clear button and pearls too. Lots of fun and easy to do too!
Okay, so I decide to take a few minutes right now and get something posted for you to enjoy. I don't know about you, but I haven't started on my Christmas cards, but will early next week . . . . I hope!
Here is one of the cards that we made for my Technique class using the beautiful Shimmer Paints that are in the Holiday Mini that will, sadly, not be available come January.
For this card, I used the popular Dasher stamp wit the Petals-a-Plenty Impression Folder for the background.
I used a sponge dauber and the Champagne Shimmer paint and rubbed it into the impressed poinsettias. This is sooo easy to use and makes an impact. I only wish you could see in in "real life".
The ribbon is in the Holiday Mini catalog and is called Sleigh Bells and I just love it!
Here is another card that we did at my Shimmer and Shine class using the Chunky Glitter.
To make my snow shine, I added Crystal Effects and added White Chunky Glitter.
I used the fabulous
Scenic Scenery set and went a little out of the box with colors and
decided to use Certainly Celery.
I know pines trees aren't usually celery, but hey! I can make it any color I want, can't I? That's one of the things I love best about stamping, it can any color you want.
I used the Mistletoe Ribbon that coordinates beautifully, don't you think?
I don't know about you, but I just really like elves!
Maybe it's because I'm Irish and they remind me of Leprechaun's, or maybe it's that I know who really makes the toys, or perhaps it's 'cause they're just so darn cute!
Anyhow, I like them!
This set just seemed to want the scalloped edge and I not only mounted it with a double scallop edge, but decided to scallop the bottom of the card too. . . . and yes, it's scalloped on the inside too.
The Elves are from the Holiday Lineup set and I'll be playing the other images, the Reindeer and Snowmen soon.
I just love the new In Color Rich Razzleberry and couldn't wait to try it on this fab ornament set, Delightful Decorations, that came out in the Holiday Mini.
I also love that this set works perfectly with the new Ornament punch, also in the Mini.
Just stamp your ornament and punch it out. No need to take time cutting it out, and that's a good thing!
For this card I paired Rich Razzleberry with Brocade Blue and Garden Green and just love it.
I used the pine tree from the Lovely as a Tree set, and the words are from another Holiday Mini set, Grateful Greetings.
Of course, I just had to use a Rhinestone in the Razzleberry ornament!
Here is a card that I designed for my Christmas Card Class last week.
I used Bashful Blue, Sage Shadow and Lavender Lace card stock and ink, which I love using this time of year especially for snowflakes.
I did a Vellum overlay and stamped the snowflakes in Silver.

Last week I had classes last week where we made 16 cards
with half of the Christmas Jingle Simply Scrappin' Kit,
that means you'll get 32 cards out of the kit when you are done with all of them.
I added Brads, Rhinestones, Buttons and Ribbons to the cards
and used regular card stock for the card bases.

Here are a few more items that I made using the Christmas Jingle Simply Scrappin' Kit. I love this kit, it is so much fun coming up with ideas that I'm still working on some inbetween classes.
I covered a notebook so that I would have somewhere to keep all of my Holiday notes, you know the ones, who's coming to what party, new recipes to try, how many cards I need to send out (lots!) and the gift wish lists and shopping lists too.
I also made a cute gift box using the Fancy Favor Sizzix die with my Big Shot and a photo holder ready for some pictures.

I wanted to share one of the projects that I have been working on using the Simply Scrappin' Kit, Jingle.
I just finished classes where we made 16 cards with just 1/2 of the kit and I'll be sharing those soon too.
I bought the Decor Blocks from the Holiday Mini and knew that the Jingle SS kit had lots of pieces that would work with them.

These blocks are so easy to work with! Just trim your paper to 2 3/4", add ribbons and the Simply Scrappin' self-adhesive die cuts and you're done!
