Have you used the new chipboard On Board Books yet?
They aren't just for scrapbooking, ya know!
Here's one of my ideas that we did at my Valentine class last month.
We used the glittery Sending Love Designer paper, the Always stamp set, Pretty in Pink Satin ribbon, several punches, a clear button and pearls too. Lots of fun and easy to do too!
Here's something that I did last month along with some of my Stampin' Up team members.
The base is a 5x5 canvas frame that I found at a local craft store. It was only a buck and I saw immediate potential.
We used the So Tweet Chipboard for the birds and Good Morning Sunshine Designer Papers with a couple of fun accessories.
I took a piece of the blue circle printfrom the Good Morning Sunshine Designer Paper and mounted it to the canvas with Sticky Strip to make my background.
Then I covered the birds with more prints from the package, then daubered some color on the big bird's tail and the legs and beak of both birds. I attached them to the canvas with Snail and Dimensionals.
I cut out the "sun" from the Good Morning paper too and mounted it with Dimensionals.
For the eyes, I used a Pacific Point Corduroy brad for the large bird and a blue Ice Rhinestone for the little guy.
To finish this project, I used Sticky Strip around 3 sides of the canvas frame to add Pacific Point Striped grosgrain ribbon.
Cute and fun!
Here I go again with the So Tweet Chipboard!
I'm just having too, too much fun using the cute birds and owl on lots of projects.
Here is the frame that the Go Getters in my group made at their workshop this month. '
I used three different prints from the Good Morning Sunshine DSP on the frame and another print for the owl.
The owl's eyes are Summer Sun Corduroy Brads. Cool huh? Don't have any yet? You can buy them right now, in several colors too! Check out page #176 in the Spring Summer catalog and order them today.

I wanted to use the Big Shot Box #2 die, but didn't want it to look like a box, so I decided to leave the lid open and make it like a windowbox. I had such fun creating this box!
I used Rose Red cardstock to make the windowbox and punched the top piece using the Scallop Border Punch.
Then I added a piece of the Sale-a-Bration Designer Paper, Delicate Dots, as a front piece.
I used the little bird and part of the branch that comes in the So Tweet On Board Chipboard (on page 183 in the Spring Summer catalog).
I colored the branch using daubers with Chocolate Chip and Kiwi Kiss pads, and the bird's beak and feet with Pumpkin Pie. I covered the bird with more of the Delicate Dots paper.
Then I tied a piece of So Saffron striped ribbon around the box and added the branch and bird to the front. To finish the box, I used my Trio Flower punch with Summer Sun and added the dots in the centers using a 1/4" circle punch.
I added some candy "eggs" in a small cello tied up with more Saffron striped ribbon to complete this treat.
I challenged my Stampin' Up team to design a box at my last meeting and I would like to share the idea that my team member, Cynthia Ritzman made.
I'll share more of those ideas soon.

Cynthia used one of my favorite papers, Raspberry Tart, on her box.
She wrapped the paper around the box and added a strip of Old Olive cardstock too.
She used the Beautiful Butterflies die and tied the pieces together with gold cord.
