Last month I taught Crayon Resist techniques and this is just one of the cards that we made.
I call this technique Radiating with Crayon Resist and here's how easy it is.
After stamping the Sweet Floral background stamp, take a light colored crayon and draw around the edges of the flowers and leaves. When you've done that, sponge the background and then take a tissue and wipe off the crayon. Because I used an Apricot crayon, the color will show slightly making a subtle outline.
To color the Sweet Floral stamp, I colored directly onto the rubber using my Stampin' Write Markers in Wisteria Wonder and Lucky Limeade, just 2 of this year's luscious In Colors.
The background was sponged with Pool Party, another In Color and I used Wisteria Ruffled Ribbon with Old Olive Satin for added texture.
